Vajza me mbulesë – ligjëruese në Universitetin e Bazelit
Arlinda Amiti 28-vjeçare nga Maqedonia, ka lënë gjurmë në Zvicër me suksese në fushën e dijes. Ajo zotëron tetë gjuhë të huaja dhe është ligjëruese në Universitetin e Bazelit. Arlinda është koordinatore e programit të doktoraturës “Islami dhe Shoqëria: Studime Teologjike Islame” në Qendrën Zvicerane për Islamin dhe Shoqërinë (SZIG). Ajo erdhi në Zvicër në vitin 2000 si një dhjetëvjeçare me familjen e saj shqiptare nga Maqedonia. Ajo studioi studimet islame dhe studimet Iberoroman në Universitetin e Bazelit. Si pjesë e tezës së doktoraturës në SZIG të Universitetit të Freiburgut, ajo po studion bashkësinë shqiptaro-muslimane në Zvicër, e cila është grupi më i madh mysliman në këtë vend.
Në një intervistë, ajo tha se qëllimi i saj është të zhvillojë një vetinterpretim islamik në universitet që duhet të gjejë vendin e saj në shkencë, në Islam dhe në shoqërinë zvicerane. Kjo kontribuon në integrimin e myslimanëve dhe tregon se sa interpretime të ndryshme të Islamit janë negociuar mes traditave dhe kërkesave kontekstuale. Mund të vërehet se Islami shpesh perceptohet dhe përfaqësohet me një normë të sheshtë. Meqenëse ekziston një nivel i lartë interesi në temat e Islamit në shoqëri dhe shpesh edhe një kureshtje e madhe, shohim mundësinë për të trajtuar jo vetëm shkencëtarët, por edhe grupe të synuara shumë të gjera në shoqëri me temat tona kërkimore. Shumica e myslimanëve që jetojnë në Zvicër, me rreth 40 për qind, janë shqiptarë, të ndjekur nga boshnjakët, me rreth 20 për qind. Myslimanët me origjinë shqiptare dhe vende të tjera të Ballkanit vijnë nga Evropa. Ata kanë përvojë të bashkëjetesës me të krishterët dhe hebrenjtë.
Që nga viti 2000, ka pasur një prani në rritje të myslimanëve shqiptarë në debatin zviceran të Islamit. Peizazhi mysliman në Zvicër është shumë heterogjen, prandaj përfaqësuesit e ndryshëm kanë fjalën e tyre. Edhe muslimanët shqiptarë janë shumë të ndryshëm: ekzistojnë “xhamitë kosovare”, bordi i të cilave përbëhet kryesisht nga kosovarët dhe “xhamitë maqedonase-shqiptare”, bordi i të cilëve përbëhet nga shqiptarët e Maqedonisë. Vizitorët e xhamisë janë përsëri shumë heterogjenë dhe shpesh vijnë nga vende të ndryshme të origjinës.
