Disa rekomandime për prindërit rreth caktimit të punëve ditore për fëmijët e tyre janë:

1. Duhet të keni parasysh forcën dhe kapacitetin e fëmijës suaj dhe mos i jepni atij punë të rënda.
2. Nëse fëmija juaj shfaq dëshirën për të kryer një punë vetë, lëreni atë që ta kryejë po atë punë që dëshiron ai.
3. Përpiquni t’u bëni me dije fëmijëve tuaj që punët e shtëpisë nuk kryhen vetvetiu, nëna kryen punët brenda shtëpisë, babai punët jashtë saj, ndërsa ata janë pjesëtarë të familjes dhe duhet të bashkëpunojë.
4. Mos i detyroni fëmijët tuaj me anë të dhunës dhe ndëshkimit fizik për kryerjen e punëve. Imam Aliu (paqja qoftë mbi të) ka thënë: “Për çdo pjesëtar të familjes caktoni një punë të caktuar. Kur secili është në dijeni për punën të caktuar nuk ka heqje dorë nga kryerja e saj”.
5. Nëse keni disa fëmijë zbatoni drejtësinë në ndarjen e punëve ndërmjet tyre, që të mos shfaqet grindja dhe përçarja në mes tyre.
6. Bashkëpunoni me fëmijët tuaj në kryerjen e punëve, fëmijët kanë dëshirë t’i kryejnë punët së bashku me të rriturit.
7. Prindërit janë shembull për fëmijën. Nëse prindërit në shtëpi bashkëpunojnë me fëmijët e tyre, edhe fëmijët shumë lehtë i pranojnë punët që iu janë dhënë si detyrë për t’i kryer.
8. Kur fëmijët të rriten, gjatë kohës së pushimeve, sipas mundësive gjeni një punë të re dhe stimuloni ata përmes kësaj vepre.
