Çfarë tha William Sheldrake për Imam Husejnin?

Dr. William Sheldrake (1888-1947) ka qenë lektor britanez. Ai në lidhje me Imam Husejnin (a.s.) ka thënë:

“Husejni ishte nisur rrugës së tij me një grup të vogël të bashkëmendimtarëve jo për fuqi e lavdi, por me qëllim të sakrificës së lartësuar. Secili anëtar i këtij grupi dinjitarësh, qoftë mashkull ose femër, duke e njohur vrazhdësinë e armiqve, ishte i gatshëm jo vetëm të luftojë por edhe të vdesë. Janë ballafaquar madje edhe me ndalimin e ujit për fëmijët, ata në furinë e diellit përcëllues dhe të rërës së nxehtë mbetën të paluhatshëm dhe këmbëngulës, duke u ballafaquar trimërisht me vdekjen e tyre pa as edhe luhatjen më të vogël drejt qëllimit të tyre”.
