“Lëreni tani fjalosjen. Kur të kthehemi në Medine, i ndershmi (medinasi) do të jetë mbi të poshtrin (mekasin)”. Kur e dëgjoi këtë Omeri, shkoi te i Dërguari (paqja qoftë mbi të) dhe tha:
“O i Dërguar i Zotit! Më jep leje t’ia pres kokën atij!” I Dërguar i Zotit (paqja qoftë mbi të) tha:
“Mos e prek atë! Nuk dua që njerëzit të thonë ‘Muhamedi po i vret sahabët e tij’”*
Në këtë ngjarje na bëhet e qartë se gjatë paraqitjes së një fërkimi në mes atyre që kanë emigruar nga Meka dhe banorëve të qetë të Medinës përnjëherë harrohen lidhjet nga feja që i kanë në mes veti. A thua si do të veprojë një popull mbas vdekjes së të Dërguari (paqja qoftë mbi të) që përpara presences së tij i kthehet ligjeve të kohës së xhahilijetit?
