BOTA E BUZËQESHUR (tregim urtësie)
Rreth dhjetë vjet më parë kur unë isha një student në kolegj, unë isha duke punuar si praktikant në Muzeun e Universitetit tim të Historisë Natyrore. Një ditë duke punuar në arkë në dyqan dhuratash, pashë një çift të moshuar që vinte me një vajzë të vogël në një karrocë. Kur erdhën më afër meje unë e pashë se ajo ishte si një trung i ulur në karrocën e saj. Unë pastaj e kuptova se ajo nuk kishte duar as këmbë, vetëm një kokë, qafën dhe trupin. Ajo kishte veshur një fustan pak të bardhë me pika të kuqe.
Kur rrotat e karrocës u afruan tek unë, unë po kërkoja në regjistër. Ktheva kokën në drejtim të vajzës dhe i mbylla syrin. Pasi mora paratë nga gjyshërit e saj, përsëri shikova vajzën, e cila për një çast mua më buzëqeshi, buzëqeshja më e mirë që kam parë ndonjëherë. Pa e menduar hendikepimin e saj unë pashë se sa e bukur ishte kjo vajzë, e cila me një buzëqeshje të vetme jetës sime i dha një kuptim krejt të ri të asaj që jeta ishte me të vërtetë. Ajo më mori mua nga një student të dobët, të pakënaqur në kolegj dhe më çoi në botën e saj, një botë e buzëqeshur, me dashuri dhe ngrohtësi.
Kjo ishte dhjetë vjet më parë. Tani unë jam një person i suksesshëm në biznes dhe sa herë që shkojnë punët keq dhe mendoj për problemet e botës, mua më shkon mendja te vajza e vogël e cila më dha një mësim të mirë për jetën.
