Në qoftë se miza prek ushqimin, askush nuk do të mund ta dijë si mund të mbrohesh nga ajo (miza). Sipas zbulimeve të sotme shkencore, miza mund të lëshojë gaz që mund ta ndryshojë ushqimin, ta prishë tërë gjellën për shkak të një prekjeje të saj.

Allahu në Kuranin e Shenjtë rreth mizës thotë: “O njerëz, është sjellë një shembull, andaj dëgjojeni atë: Idhujt që ju i adhuroni në vend të Allahut, nuk mund të krijojnë as edhe një mizë, edhe nëse bashkohen të gjithë për këtë. E, nëse miza u merr atyre diçka, ata nuk mund t’ia marrin. I dobët është përgjëruesi (adhuruesi), por edhe ai të cilit i përgjërohen (idhulli)”. (Surja el-Haxh, ajeti 73)
