Hazreti Hava-ja, e cila është shumë e njohur në kulturën e vendeve joislamike si Eva, është nëna e racës njerëzore dhe gruaja e Hazreti Ademit (a.s.), babait të qenieve njerëzore. Pasi krijoi qiellin dhe tokën, Zoti krijoi Hazreti Ademin (a.s.) dhe sikurse mund t’i referohemi vargjeve kuranore, Zoti krijoi gjithçka, njerëzimin. Në fjalët e Kuranit të Shenjtë thuhet: “Ai është Ai, i cili krijoi për ju gjithçka që është në tokë“.

Sipas burimeve islamike, engjëjt mblidhnin argjilën, me anën e së cilës do të bëheshin trupat e Havasë (s.a.) dhe të Ademit (a.s.), nga të katër anët e botës, pas së cilës, krijimi i tyre zuri vend në botën superiore. Ademi (a.s.) dhe Havaja (s.a.) ishin krijuar nga Zoti, sikur të kishin të njëjtën “natyrë”.

Zoti fillimisht krijoi Hazreti Ademin (a.s.), por ai (a.s.) dëshironte të kishte një shoqërues dhe një mik të ngushtë dhe Zoti krijoi Hava-në. Kur Ademi (a.s.) e pa Hava-në (s.a.) për herë të parë, e pyeti se kush ishte dhe përse kishte ardhur tek ai. Kësaj pyetjeje Hava-ja (s.a.) iu përgjigj: “Zoti i Plotfuqishëm më caktoi mua si shoqëruesen tuaj, më caktoi të martohem me ju“. Ademi (a.s.) u lumturua pa masë kur dëgjoi këtë dhe përnjëherësh u gjunjëzua para Zotit, në shenjë mirënjohjeje dhe më pas ata u martuan me urdhrin e Zotit. Është thënë që vetë Zoti lejoi me zë betimin e martesës së tyre.

Kurani i Shenjtë i referohet krijimit të një gruaje për burrin si shenjë hyjnore dhe thotë: “Dhe një nga shenjat e tij është se Ai krijoi shoqërues për ju nga vetja juaj, që ju të mund të gjeni prehje në to dhe ai futi ndërmjet jush dashurinë dhe dhembshuri dhe ç’është më e sigurta, këto janë shenja për ata njerëz që reflektojnë“. (Surja er-Rum, ajeti 21)

Vargjet e shenjta të Kuranit Famëlartë sugjerojnë qartë se Zoti e krijoi Ademin (a.s.) për jetën në tokë që nga fillimi, sipas Librit të Shenjtë. “Dhe kur Zoti juaj u thotë engjëjve, jam duke dërguar në tokë një Kalif…” (Surja el-Bekare, ajeti 30)

Mund të tregohet prej këtyre vargjeve të ndritshme se Ademi (a.s.) ishte krijuar për jetë dhe vdekje në tokë që nga fillimi. Dhe më pas Zoti i vendosi Ademin (a.s.) dhe Hava-në (s.a.) në parajsë, me qëllim që Ai t’i testonte ato me anë të atyre gjërave që ata u bënë të ndërgjegjshëm për ndjenjën e turpit dhe lidhjen e origjinës së tyre me tokën. Ishte vullneti i Zotit që çështjet e tokës i kaluan këtij burri dhe me këtë Ai kërkonte t’i jepte atij lirinë, të përballej me zhvillimin e tij dhe të shijonte të mirat e tij në tokë. Në këtë mënyrë Zoti e bekoi burrin me cilësi të veçanta, aftësi, talente, perceptim dhe inteligjencë, në mënyrë që ai të mund të përballojë përgjegjësinë e të qenurit zëdhënësi i Tij dhe të merrte pjesë në udhëheqjen e krijimit.

Sipas Kuranit të Shenjtë, Zoti i mësoi Ademit (a.s.) sekretet e krijimit, në mënyrë që ta informonte atë për sektorët e qenieve, emrat e tyre, cilësitë e tyre dhe filozofinë e emërtimit të gjërave. Sipas këtyre vargjeve Kurani dëshmon: “Dhe Ai i mëson Ademit të gjitha emrat“. (Surja el-Bekare, ajeti 31).
