Teoria e Frommit lidhur me personalitetin

Sipas Erich Frommit një personalitet zhvillohet dhe ndërtohet nga mjedisi shoqëror dhe kulturor, i cili, në mënyrë që të mbijetojnë, ai duhet të ndërtojë tiparet e personalitetit si dhe modelet e sjelljes të cilat ia mundësojnë të identifikohen në një mjedis të caktuar shoqëror.

Frommi thekson se kërkesat e mjedisit social janë në kundërshtim me pesë prej këtyre nevojave tipike njerëzore dhe se kolapsi i këtyre nevojave çon në sjellje destruktive. Nga ky vështrim global i Frommit në pikëpamjen e personalitetit, do t’i paraqesim disa shqyrtime interesante:

3 shqyrtimet e Erich Frommit

1. Frommi thekson se njeriu posedon nevoja specifike njerëzore, siç janë ndërgjegjja, arsyeja, vetëdijesimi, imagjinata e që këto nuk hasen në botën shtazore. Në të njëjtën kohë, njeriu ka karakteristika të përbashkëta me kafshët (nevojat fiziologjike, elementet instinktive, instinktet).

2. Faktorët e mjedisit social në formimin e një personi janë shumë të theksuar dhe të vendosura në vendin e parë. Rol të rëndësishëm në zhvillimin e një personaliteti të pjekur i jepet faktorëve njohës, sepse ai tregon për kërkesat që një person mund t’i ketë gjatë zhvillimit të tij, duhet të udhëhiqen me mendje e jo me instinkte të tjera dhe forcave iracionale (libido) siç pretendohet nga Frojdi dhe teoria e tij biologistike.

3. Lëvizësit e brendshëm aktiv dhe motivet, përfaqësojnë dy nevoja specifike njerëzore që lidhen me dëshirën e individit për të demonstruar mundësi potenciale, për t’u vetërealizuar. Bëhet fjalë për kreativitetin, nevojën për të krijuar dhe kapërcyer natyrën e kafshëve dhe nevojën që njeriu të jetë pjesë e botës, e barabartë, e njohur dhe e pranuar.

Roli i faktorëve socialë është veçanërisht i theksuar në zhvillimin e tipareve të personalitetit dhe në mënyrën e organizimit të tyre. Personaliteti është formuar në një mënyrë të tillë që ambienti kulturor të vendosë kërkesat e veta dhe individi në mënyrë racionale përpiqet të zhvillojë dhe mbajë socializmin dhe altruizmin në vetvete. E vërteta është se Frommi gjithmonë flet për një njeri të idealizuar, eprorët, por përtej kontekstit të kushteve të vërteta socio-ekonomike.

Ndryshe nga behavioristët, Frommi nga vizioni i tij për personalitetin thekson se njeriu ka nevojë njerëzore për vetërealizimin (përkryerjen njerëzore) i cili vetërealizim vepron si një motiv i fuqishëm në procesin e punës, të mësuarit dhe zhvillimit të personalitetit. Këto pra janë nevojat për kreativitet dhe njohje nga ana e shoqërisë. Frommi e kurorëzon mendimin e tij se ai nuk është një marrës pasiv i subvencioneve nga bota e jashtme, por ka forca të brendshme që inkurajojnë veprimin dhe qeverisin sjelljen e njeriut. Nëse thellohemi më shumë dhe bëjmë krahasime edhe të teorive tjera psikologjike lidhur me personalitetin, atëherë mund të konkludojmë se teoria e Fromit është shumë e vlefshme dhe e nevojshme për të gjitha qeniet njerëzore.
