Ai udhëheqës shteti që mund të zotërojë pasuritë më të mëdhaja në botë, nëse nuk mund të frenojë dëshirat dhe qejfet e tij dhe bie pre e tyre, ai është njeri i ulët. Ai njeri i varfër që arrin të mposhtë dëshirat e tij të shfrenuara dhe ecën në rrugën e saktë, në rrugën e përsosmërisë, në Rrugën e Allahut, ai është njeri i madh.
Vërtet, ajo që ndodhi në ditën e dhjetë të Muharremit është e rrallë në historinë e njerëzimit. Njerëzia as nuk ka parë e as nuk ka për të parë ndodhi të tillë gjatë gjithë jetës së saj. Mësimet e nxjerra nga Ashuraja nuk janë mësime të posaçme për periudhë kohore, por ato janë mësime gjalla e të përjetshme.
Ashuraja na mëson se vigjilenca është e domosdoshme për njeriun në mbrojtje të fesë së tij. Ashuraja na mëson se ballafaqimi me armikun është i mundshëm, edhe pse ai zotëron fuqi të dukshme…
Nëse dëshirojmë të përmendim dy ose tre cilësi të dalluara nga mesi i të gjitha atyre cilësive të imam Huseinit, mund themi se “sinqeriteti” është njëra prej tyre, që nënkupton respektimin e përgjegjësive hyjnore duke mos implikuar në to interesat personale, kolektive dhe as motivet materiale. Imam Husenit (a.s.) dhe ndodhia e Kerbelasë janë ndër ato ndodhi historike ku nuk ka vend egoizmi dhe mungesa e sinqeritetit. Prandaj edhe kjo vepër ka mbetur e paharrueshme deri me sot dhe do të mbetët përgjithmonë.
Zonja e madhe Zejneb (paqja qoftë mbi të!) është shembull i lartë në histori. Kjo tregon rolin e madh të femrës në çështjet madhore të Islamit. Thuhet se gjaku triumfoi ndaj shpatës në Qerbela. Vërtet, ai triumfoi. Faktori kryesor i këtij triumfi ishte zonja e madhe Zejneb e bija e imam Aliut (paqja qoftë mbi të!).
Pamja e jashtme të tregonte se drita e Ehli Bejtit në shkretirën e Qerbelas do të shuhet. Mirëpo, besimi në Zot përkundër asaj që dukej, bëri të mundur që fjala e drejtë e bazuar në realitet e Imam Huseinit (a.s.) të dilte fitimtare.
Qëllimi i Kur’anit është që ta njohë njeriun me veten e tij, me Zotin e tij, me këtë jetë, me Jetën tjetër dhe me rrugët e arritjes së lumturisë së vërtetë. Kur’ani i shenjtë është i vërtetë dhe përmban të vërtetën. Allahu i Madhëruar thotë: “Ne e kemi shpallur Kuranin me të vërtetën dhe ai ka zbritur me të vërtetën…” (Sure Isra, 105)
Devotshmëria është çelësi i lumturisë së kësaj jete dhe e Jetës Tjetër. Vërtet, njerëzia sot është e humbur dhe e çoroditur. Ajo rënkon prej llojeve të ndryshme të problemeve dhe dhimbjeve individuale, familjare dhe shoqërore. Të gjitha këto përshkak të mospranisë së devotshmërisë dhe nga prania e pavëmendshmërisë…

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a
