Pejgmaberi paqja qoftë mbi të dhe Familjen e tij, çastet më të këndshme të jetës i kalonte me dhëndërinë e tij Imam Aliun paqa qoftë mbi të, duke e këshilluar me këto dituri të shenjta profetike.

O Ali, shenjat e arritjes së bindjes së sigurt (jakin) janë këto: Mos e kënaq askënd me ndonjë gjë që e zemëron Allahun, mos e lëvdo askënd për ndonjë gjë që të ka dhënë Allahu dhe mos e kritiko askënd për ndonjë gjë që nuk të ka dhënë Allahu. Sepse, furnizimi nuk mund të fitohet përmes lakmisë dhe nuk mund të parandalohet përmes kërkesës. O Ali, nuk ka varfëri më të keqe se sa padituria, pasuri më të madhe se mendja, vetmi më frikuese se egoizmi dhe ndihmesë më të madhe se konsultimi. Asnjë mendje nuk është më e dobishme se sa mendja e kujdesshme. Nuk ka origjinë dhe prejardhje më të mirë se sa morali (ahlak), dhe nuk ka adhurim (ibadet) më të mirë se sa falënderimi. O Ali, fjalën e shkatërron gënjeshtra, diturinë e shkatërron harresa, pakujdesia e shkatërron adhurimin, bujarinë e shkatërron neglizhenca, trimërinë e shkatërron zullumi, bukurinë e shkatërron egoizmi dhe prejardhjen familjare e shkatërron të lëvduarit me të.

O Ali, gjithmonë thuaje të vërtetën; mos të dalë e pavërteta asnjëherë nga goja; kurrsesi mos tento kah tradhtia; frikësohu nga Allahu sikur je duke e parë Atë; pasurinë dhe jetën flijoje për fenë tënde; përfito sjelljen e mirë dhe largohu nga sjellja e keqe. O Ali, tri gjëra janë prej moralit të lartë: Të punosh në vazhdimësinë e lidhjes me atë që e ka ndërprerë me ty; t’i dhurosh atij që nuk të jep dhe të falësh atë që të bën zullum. O Ali, tri gjëra janë shpëtuese: Përmbajtja e gjuhës, qarja për mëkatet dhe mosdalja nga shtëpia (duke pasur për qëllim largimin nga shoqërimi me njerëzit e pamoralshëm). O Ali, këto tri kualitete morale vijnë në krye të çdo vepre: Sjellja me drejtësi ndaj njerëzve (edhe nëse është kundër interesave personale), mirëmbajtja e barazisë me vëllain tënd besimtar dhe të përmendurit e Allahut në çdo gjendje. O Ali, tre persona janë mysafirë të Allahut: -Besimtari i cili e viziton vëllain e vet vetëm për hir të Allahut. Njeriu i tillë është vizitori i Allahut dhe, shërbimi
dhe plotësimi i dëshirës së vizitorit është një e drejtë që i takon Allahut. -Mysafiri i Allahut është edhe ai që, pasi ta falë namazin, është i zënë me lutje, përmendje të Allahut (dhikr), lexim të Kuranit, etj. deri në namazin e ardhshëm. Edhe për personin e tillë, shërbimi dhe plotësimi i dëshirës së tij është një e drejtë që i takon Allahut. -Dhe, personi që është në haxh dhe umre. Këta persona janë duke e vizituar Allahun dhe mikpritja për ata i takon vetë Allahut. O Ali, tri gjëra kanë shpërblim në këtë dhe në botën e ardhshme: Haxhi, që e mbulon varfërinë; lëmosha (sadaka), që i largon fatkeqësitë; dhe, bamirësia ndaj të afërmve, që ta zgjatë jetën.

O Ali, tri gjëra të çojnë drejt rrugës së mirësisë: Bujaria, të folurit e bukur dhe të qenët i durueshëm ndaj fatkeqësive. O Ali, në Tora janë shënuar katër gjëra, që i bartin katër gjëra tjera: Kush e lakmon botën, zemërohet në Allahun; ai që ankohet prej një fatkeqësie të qëlluar, në të vërtetë ai ankohet prej Allahut; atij, që përulet përpara të pasurit (për shkak të pasurisë së tij), do t’i zhduket dy e treta e fesë; ata që do të shkojnë në xhehenem prej kësaj bashkësie (Ummet), janë ata që i kanë nënçmuar dhe që kanë luajtur me argumentet e Allahut. O Ali, katër gjëra sjellin katër të tjera: Ai që e arrin pushtetin e luksit, bëhet diktator; ai që nuk konsultohet, do të pendohet; si sillesh ndaj të tjerëve, ashtu do të sillen ndaj teje; varfëria është vdekja më e madhe. E pyetën: “A ka të bëjë varfëria me mospasjen e parasë dhe të mallit?” – Ai u përgjigj: “Jo, ka të bëjë me mospasjen e fesë”. O Ali, në ditën e Kiametit do të lotojnë sytë e çdonjërit përveç tre prej tyre: Syri që ishte i zgjuar gjatë natës në rrugën e Allahut; syri që nuk i ka shikuar gjërat e ndaluara dhe syri që ka qarë prej frikës nga Allahu.

O Ali, gënjeshtra lejohet në tri raste: Gjatë luftës, për të mashtruar armikun; gjatë pajtimit dhe përmirë

simit të marrëdhënieve në mes të dy personave; dhe, dhënia fjalë gruas për blerjen e ndonjë gjësendi (duke e ditur se nuk ke mundësi për ta blerë atë gjësend). O Ali, të folurit e drejtë nuk është e preferuar në tri raste: Duke folur fjalë të panevojshme, të treguarit një burri në lidhje me gjërat e palakmueshme për familjen e tij; dhe ta kundërshtosh ndokënd që është duke folur të pavërteta por qëllimi i të cilit janë punët e mbara të shoqërisë (këtu kemi të bëjmë me të pavërtetat që nuk i bëjnë dëm popullit, por që janë në të mirën e tyre). O Ali, katër gjëra janë të kota: Ngrënia pas ngopjes; ndezja e qiriut nën dritën e hënës; mbjellja e farës në tokën shterpe; të bërit mirë ndokujt që nuk është i denjë për atë mirësi.

O Ali, katër persona do ta shijojnë dënimin më shpejt se të tjerët: Atij që ia bën një të mirë, ndërsa ai ta kthen me të keqen; ai që të bën ty padrejtësi, pa ia bërë ti atij më parë; ai që e prish një marrëveshje i pari, pa e prishur ti atë më parë; dhe ai që e ndërpret bamirësinë ndaj të afërmve, duke mos i ndërprerë ti ato i pari. O Ali, është e përkryer feja e atij që i zotëron këto katër gjëra: Drejtësinë, falënderimin, turpin dhe moralin e bukur. O Ali, të hapurit e dorës sa më pak ndaj popullit i paraprin pasurimit, ndërsa hapja e shpeshtë e dorës ndaj popullit është poshtërim. Dhe, kjo është paraprirje për në varfëri.
