ROLI I GRUAS NË ISLAM

Allahu i Gjithëdijshëm i ka dhuruar gruas fuqi të jashtëzakonshme. Përparimi dhe lumturia, si edhe shkatërrimi i familjes janë në duart e saj. Gruaja mund të shndërrojë shtëpinë në xhenet ose në xhehenem të këndellur. Ajo ka mundësi që ta çojë burrin e vet gjer në piedestalin më të lartë të suksesit ose në fund të humnerës dhe mjerimit.
Gratë luanin një rol të rëndësishëm në shekujt e hershëm të Islamit, madje duke arrirë pushtet në çështjet shoqërore. Kurani insistoi mbi barazinë e gjinive dhe vrulli i hershëm islam për arsimim solli shumë dobi për gratë në shekujt e hershëm. Gratë u bënë poete, shkrimtare dhe udhëheqëse në fusha të ndryshme. Sukejna (vdiq 735 e.s.), bija e Husejn ibn ‘Aliut (paqja qoftë mbi ta), ishte drejtuese e salloneve letrare, mbrëmjet intelektuale të së cilës ishin të njohura në tërë botën muslimane të asaj kohe.
Rabi’ah el ‘Adevijja, në shekullin e dytë të Islamit, ishte një nga poeteshat më të famshme sufiste. Pas vdekjes së Pejgamberit (paqja qoftë mbi të dhe familjen e tij) e deri në shekullin tonë, gjendet një histori e mbushur plot me zonja të famshme muslimane, mësuese, edukatore, luftëtare, infermiere, poete, autore, hafëze, të ndershme e dinjitoze, që merren si shembull në shoqëri.
