Hysejni kish at’ Alinë,
Jeziti kish faqezinë;
njër’ ish mbret i bir’ i mbretit,
dhe i nip i Muhametit;
Tjatr’ ish i bir’ i Zyfjanit,
i kushërir’ i Mervanit,
njër’ ish me Zotn’ e vërtetë,
tjatëri ish djalli vetë.
Drita, që ndrin gjithësinë,
e na rrëfen Perëndinë,
ishte Imam i vërtetë,
që la emër për jetë.
Për atë Zot s’ka lëvdatë
kjo fjal’ është shum’ e gjatë;
mirësi e ati s’thuhet,
është e lart shum’ e s’shkruhet,
gjer atje ne nukë vemi,
pak’ është sado të themi.
Jeziti fronë e zuri,
në ligësit dorë vuri,
ndënj në front të gjakëtuar,
në një vënt të mallëkuar.
Njerëzis’ i vuri frenë,
e shkoj shumë Mavijenë.
Të ligat’ ajy i zuri,
e ky gjer në funt i shpuri.
Imam-Hysejnë kujtonte
nat’ e dit’ e shkumbëzonte.
