Të gjithë në shtëpitë tona kemi kafe turke të cilën me shumë dashuri dhe përkushtim prindërit tanë e pinë në mëngjes ose në mbrëmje. Kemi dëgjuar aq shumë mbi kafenë turke e cila është e pranishme çdo ditë në shtëpi, por me shumë siguri nuk i dini këto “sekrete”.
1- Nëse mendoni se kafeja turke quhet turke sepse e ka origjinën në Turqi, gaboheni. Provat historike tregojnë se kafeja turke ka nisur të konsumohet në Jemen në shekullin e 15-ë. Më pas ajo u përhap në Kajro dhe Mekë. Historianë të njohur tregojnë se në vitin 1640 në Kostandinopojë është hapur kafeteria e parë.
2- Kafeja e mirë turke dallohet tek ajka që krijohet në krye të filxhanit. Ajka e ndihmon kafenë të qëndrojë e nxehtë për një kohë më të gjatë. Ajo duhet të jetë e butë dhe me bulëza.
3- Kafeja turke shoqërohet me një gotë ujë. Sepse uji do t’ju ndihmojë të ndjeni shijen e vërtetë të kafesë, dhe do të bëjë pastrimin e qiellzës nga llumi që ngelet në fund.
5- Në kulturën turke nëse duhet të përcaktohet burrëria e dhëndrit atëherë në kafenë e tij shtohet kripë. Vajza bën kafenë dhe sasia e kripës tregon interesin. Nëse kripa është e tepërt atëherë çifti nuk është për njëri-tjetrin. Nëse kripa është në nivele mesatare atëherë vajza ka interes, ndërsa kur vajza ka hedhur shumë pak kripë në kafe atëherë ajo është e gatshme për t’u martuar. Dhëndri duhet ta pijë kafenë e përgatitur në mënyrë që të quhet i gatshëm për martesë.
6- Kafeja turke është vendosur në listën e trashëgimisë kulturore të UNESCO-s. Vendimi është marrë në seancën e 8-të të Komitetit ndërqeveritar të UNESCO-s të mbajtur në vitin 2013 në kryeqytetin e Azerbejxhanit, Baku.
